Yara ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when you use our travel planning app ("the App").
All personal and travel data you enter in Yara is stored securely in your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit technology.
We do not collect, access, or store your travel plans, locations, itineraries, or any personal data on our servers.
Your data remains private and accessible only to you.
3. Information We May Access
Yara does not require you to create an external account or share personal details directly with us.
However, the following information may be processed automatically by Apple or third-party services:
Device Information: Basic diagnostic and crash data may be collected anonymously by Apple to improve performance and reliability.
iCloud Sync: Apple manages the synchronization of your data across your devices through iCloud.
We do not have access to this data, nor can we view or retrieve it.
4. How Your Data Is Used
Your data is used locally on your device and within your own iCloud account to:
Store and sync your itineraries across devices.
Display your trips, maps, and travel statistics.
Generate and share PDF itineraries with friends and family (optional).
No data is transmitted to external servers or shared with us.
5. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We do not share, sell, or transmit any personal data to third parties.
Apple’s CloudKit service may process and store data securely on your behalf, under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Sharing a PDF itinerary is an optional user action and entirely under your control.
6. Data Security
All data is encrypted and protected by Apple’s iCloud security infrastructure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and device to prevent unauthorized access to your travel information.
7. Your Privacy Choices
Because all data is stored in your iCloud account, you can:
Delete your travel data directly from the app or from iCloud Settings.
Revoke iCloud permissions for Yara at any time.
We cannot access, modify, or delete any data on your behalf.
